He asked to be released to house arrest while the investigation continues. Goren extended his remand order for a week while experts examine Yaakov. Goren has instructed the prosecution to draw up a new indictment. He also told the prosecution to remove elements that harm state security, so that the indictment can be published in full. Yaakov has lived in the United States for most of the last two decades.
