I normally use the 50pt chart too, just wanted to give a different perspective.

I am thinking that the upcoming fed meeting and then the semi bullish news about CSCO will drive us through the 2250 region. If we make it all the way to the BRL (2500), I will start selling calls there. But I suspect that we stop a little bit before there and consolidate a little before a final assault on the BRL.

I believe that the tech buying cycles are out of phase due to the Y2K buying and then the market weakness. I believe that there is some buying demand that has been building up and can provide the fuel for a pretty decent rally.
