Yup, using your logic right after it became apparent his tax cut was going to get approved. Way to go Bush! You must really love him now. :)

Michael Wonder why the NAZ declined so much more than the DOW or S&P? I don't recall Bush saying to take it easy on them or beat up the NAZ because the liberal engineers did not vote for him. If they were anything like the LTCM rocket scientists they might have been leveraged or drowning in options, hedged for every contingency but the one that happened. It doesn't take long to discover the market does unexpected things, when you least expect it. It was interesting to revisit the LTCM fiasco on NOVA last night, $3 billion leveraged to $1.25 trillion before they nearly brought down the entire economy. Glad I missed that ride. After all, Bush did not pump NAZ valuations, that was "irrational exuberance"!
