Is this based on experience or a scientific study? This was a scientific study performed at engineering school with a couple pitchers of beer, pizza, and some vacuum tubes. The chemical types wanted to talk about the organic compounds in the beer and we electricals wanted to talk about pentode amplifiers. We did find common ground talking about slide rule performance.
