Yup! When was the last time a US politician quit something in protest to policy.
Hubert Humphrey should have quit as VP.
Robert MacNamara should have quit as Defense Secy and so on.
Some of Clintons folks should have quit during his scandal.

In Europe there are periodic resignations if i am not mistaken based on integrity. In the US the money and power are too much the aphrodisiac for anyone to quit. Stay quiet when the bombing begins even in a war you deplore. A Dylan song in the making.
