"But if they do so voluntarily, for the sole purpose of serving others and not for any personal benefit..."

Perhaps you misunderstand what MT believed. You might want to consider the wedding band on her finger...

Do you have any evidence that she ever helped anyone? Do have have any evidence that she was capable of empathy or compassion? It would be nice to see some evidence from your side to balance the evidence that her whole live was dedicated to blind obedience to what she believed would buy her everlasting life in heaven with Jesus. For her to reach this one selfish goal....billions of dollars were prevented from alleviating the suffering they were INTENDED by donors to alleviate.

Well, I'm off to work. While you are looking for evidence that she cared about alleviating suffering (i.e. that she had empathy and compassion), you might also take the time to consider whether you have been absolutely honest with yourself in this matter. I know I have been because I took the time to reflect. The evidence I have seen is very disturbing. She fits a classic pattern. Hopefully, you can come up with some evidence that shows she did some good. Actually, I hope you do--but the prospects do not look good...
