dennis thanks for the heads up on the release of zonealarm 2.6. i downloaded but did not yet install. waiting to read about any issues. has anyone here on the thread installed and ran it yet? in trying to find what the upgrade is about, or what it does, here is all i could really find, at least so far... "ZoneAlarm 2.6 features a new tutorial, improved color-coded Alerts with ratings and advice, as well as enhanced online help. ZoneAlarm 2.6 also has "hardened" security at the operating system level to safeguard users from the latest forms of Internet sabotage and includes improved intrusion blocking." i ran a quick nav scan on zonalm26.exe, and at least the file did not set off any virus alerts, as some firewall upgrades have been known to do (blackice for one). anyway, if anyone is running za 2.6 please post your experiences with it to date. :) mark
