ATA, that is exactly what stocks were supposed to be ----- owning a piece of a company and that is why at the beginning the most important thing were the dividends a company trough it's stock pays. At that time buy and hold made sense. Not any more today.

Thieves and Swindlers are trying to convince people differently just to generate more fees and profits for themselves. As such they invented all kind of formulas from P/E to "growth rate" "eyeballs" and "page hits" meaningless formulation in the real world.

I never witnessed a bank writing a mortgage to an RE buyer because the building had many "eyeballs" looking at ....... or many people passing trough their doors. Real cash such as free cash flow and rentroll what matters.
