Jerome, One thing I like about AMAT is that one does not have to worry about which technology wins out (e.g whether DSL or Cable, Qualcom's wireless technology, or some other, etc.). As long as chips continue to be used in more and more applications, AMAT should do ok. But as I mentioned in my previous post, I think the market is hard to call right now, but I remain bullish at this time. Off Topic: I think you mentioned an interest in GLW once before. Briefing.com has some bullish comments on GLW today, they think it is a good value here, FWIW. John
