Oh yeah, they are. If you want to see some really great Tyson fights, see Tyson-Ruddock II (1991) or either Tyson-Bruno match (1989 and 1996).

All of which had Tyson hurt at one point and come back to wreck the opponent. Truth be told, Tyson-Holyfield I (1996) was a great fight too, with a decidedly different outcome ;-)
