I had planned on ploughing quite a bit more into SUF but if they are even remotely considering diluting our equity stake... forget it! One of the key factors that inhibited market support in SUF over the past five years was the perception (too often the reality) of lack of direction and lack of single-minded purpose to realize stated goals and objectives. In short, management did not do what they said they were going to do. Why would investors risk their $$ on a company that constantly changes direction and priorities. They wouldn't then and they won't now. I am willing to invest in SUF, substantially, if I know that it will have 70% of Messina with all of its unfulfilled potential in six years. I am not willing to invest if it will give any part of it away just to get up to speed faster or hedge its bets. Management said they could put Messina into production through debt financing with a pay back of less than two years and that is what they should do. Anything else will relegate SUF to permanent junior status and confirm its future as just another also ran. This company once had a vision and the conviction and determination to see it realized. That was almost lost a year ago. The market has been waiting and watching since to see if professional and ethical management will finally deliver on its promises. This sort of suggestion/rumour mongering undermines that confidence. Management should take note at the first hint of it, and put it to rest RIGHT NOW! Georges - you offer no rational for your suggestion, which frankly leaves me somewhat suspicious of your objectives. Over the past five years, there have been all too many plants from certain interest groups fear mongering on this thread, and its important shareholders remain aware of that reality/history. If you are not such a shill, I apologize, but please substantiate your fears with some tangible logic/rational. If not, I must question your motivations. Lets get on with building this company and stop dithering. Respectfully Vaughn
