In most, if not all cases, the local taxes are a fixed percentage. But it's like sales tax, the higher the final bill, the tax amount added on increases accordingly. If it was a fixed dollar amount, no big deal. But since its based on a percentage.... Pretty slick, eh?

I had posted a question to Les on CFZ about bond put/call ratio's rising. If you didn't see it, I'd like to hear your take, since I'm not much of a bond expert.

Lee, since 1998 when AG started to play the financial market game the FED was always misreading the economy and just a trend follower of the bond market. Would not be surprised if you scenario will pan out, but it seems to me that the bond market says no rate cut.
