LP when george foreman fought five guys in one night, that turned out pretty bad.... i suppose george was trying to upstage ali's 'bum of the month' club, and pack five stiffs into one night. trouble was, these stiffs mostly ran around and covered up to survive, and they made plodding george look terrible. :) mark

Fernando Vargas is fighting tomorrow night on HBO. Though I'm a huge fan of Trinidad, I must confess that I thought Vargas was going to win that fight. A fighter can't come up bigger and fulfill more of his potential than Tito did that night. Trinidad cemented his place in the Hall of Fame with his performance vs "Ferocious" Fernando, a terrific fighter IMHO. It should be interesting to see how Vargas bounces back from that fight. Vargas took some beating from Trinidad in that fight and some fighters never recover from the shots he took. I'll be rooting for Vargas bigtime tomorrow night. Bruce PS: Welcome to the thread, Myron!
