That is cool...I am so uninformed about who is who in baseball nowadays that I don't even bother to pay attention. I did have a blast at the dodger game last weekend.

What team is Todd Zeile playing for now?

If you can believe it, I have a couple of baseballs
autographed by Maddux. His dad used to work in the
poker room at the MGM Grand in L.V. They had a drawing
a few years ago...

Dawgy,

I used to follow baseball more than I do now....but we had Maddux on the North Side of Chicago when he was young, and I have been constantly amazed by his ability to do what he does year after year, without injury. I think at this point there is no doubt he is the best pitcher not only of his generation but of the two or three preceding generations as well.

The only old timer at this point you can make an argument for as better than Maddux, year in and year out, is Walter Johnson. But if Maddux keeps this up til he's 40, even that comparison won't work. Simply amazing.
