You misunderstand. I fear no God. I fear what a belief in God makes some people become (any God or Gods- I do not specify- beliefs in most Gods can make people do terrible things, if we are to give in credence to historical record) I fear human fanaticism which seems to give human beings the ability to act in quite inhuman ways. I will always fear that. Nothing (I hope) would make me lose so much of my humanity that I would not fear inhumanity. I understand your need to spread your absolutist version of the truth. I understand that you think you have found the only answer. I understand that you are sure of this. Please understand I do not agree with you. I never have and I doubt I ever will. As an agnostic I compel myself never to say never, but please, know that I mean almost certainly never, will we ever agree.

In a strange sad way listening to zombies can bolster faith. I mean really, Mother Teresa a whore? St. Joan of Arc an uppity kid? Today they would accuse her of having a messiah complex with a chemical imbalance and medicate her. The real pay-off is they want everyone brought down to their level, their lowest common denominator level. They rarely succeed in legislating a social policy because they don't have the will. If they did not medicate Joan and Mother Teresa they would impose a tax based on how much better they are than themselves. Don't blame X - she is an automaton for Hume, Kant, Hegel and Marx - the failures of philosophy - she probably never read them either, such is their influence. Sure socialism failed and millions died horrible deaths, "but the our gang will do it better" approach is winning the day. And when they can't explain their basic premise, "It's because it's too deep and you would not understand".
