The MLS service in most places is flawed. Realestatetours' service allows the individual realtor much more control of his business. They offer a co-op listing database that allows all its members to showcase thousands of listings under their own name and website. The service uses a multi-picture format which the consumer really likes because it helps them qualify homes easier. A picture of the front of the house just doesn't cut it anymore. You want to see inside and sometimes even a 360 degree virtual tour. As for individual realty companies and their own sites they will never showcase other firms listings show a consumer will not get a wide enough choice of listings to keep drawing them back.
They are obviously doing something right because all their 500+ current members are part of the mls service so they must find value in realestatetours if they are going to pay an additional $35 or more monthly to also be a member of realestatetours.
I think a lot of trends are starting to move in the company's favor. Real estate sector is getting more active and technology continues to improve productivity. There are going to continue to be massive changes in the way the real estate industry will conduct business because of the adoption of new technologies.
