JDN,

Look more carefully:

The NAZ shot up in October 1999. Greenspan made numerous interest rate hikes to fix this, and the market corrected between March and May 2000. After May, it turned around and went up 1000 points between May and Bush's nomination.

Between Bush's nomination, and when Bush quit his recession trash talk four weeks ago, the market fell an unprecedented 60%.

Remember how Reagan stopped the slide in 1987 by telling everyone that Wall Street was FOS? Bush did the opposite. He talked continuously of recession and crashed the market- intentionally.

Since bush quit his recession talk 4 weeks ago, the market has made a nice recovery. Did you know that last summer semiconductor sales growth was at an all time high, at the same time Bush was warning of recession?
