The guy who runs the digital imaging department in the Fairfax Microcenter is really knowledgeable - he's got comparison prints of the same image using different scanners, different printers, different papers - and he's indefatigable. Sense of humor, too - I complemented him that he must sell a lot of stuff for the company, and he said, no, after he shows the demos people go out and buy it cheaper on the Internet. LOL! Anyway, it's nice to be able to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. I buy my stuff there - it may be a little more expensive but I get extra service so I don't mind paying for it. That type of human touch is hard to get on the Internet. You're right about people being able to pick out the images they want. Another factor is being able to see what you've got after you shoot it. You can keep shooting until you get it right - and erase the shots you don't want.
