Macromedia (MACR) 26.57 +2.87: -- Update -- On conference call, company
explained reduction in gross margin to 89% from 91% in DecQ. Due to slightly
lower sales mix and a bit with Allaire acqusition...Yet another comment on
20% operating margin guidance: "We're not really providing guidance here."
Bottom line, no guidance whatsoever...stock trading at 21.

This is great- so companies are pleading the 5th and if they MUST provide guidance they are saying 'well, looks like 3 quarters from now we will start seeing improvement'

... I still dont understand all this positive media.. I mean I dont expect us to start a down move to 1500 on the nasdaq, but at the same time- what reason does this market have to move higher?
