yes, that would be highly unusual. especially as nobody seems to take the selling seriously, as evidenced by still very low p/c ratios.
to prove an inversion is taking place, the aggregate indices (take the Wilshire as a proxy) would have to better their most recent highs by Monday...in that case i'd consider the inversion scenario.
