Actually, in this case, Wednesday would indeed have been a good day to short.

There were some clear signals, but if I went over them, I'd get a reply saying that those signals aren't reliable and that I have much to learn. And you'd be right on both counts.

We see this analysis class for beginners ourselves; is now having a "how to grow the largest okra" contest.

The subject matter is analysis?

Market timing? Yes, you are all in cash and in safe heaven.

Fundamentals? P/E ratio is too high for your taste.

Technical analysis? Watch those charts that people put up.

All together, 11 posts? Did I analyze them right?

Still, for us beginners(the market makers humbled us to be beginners), as long as we still have the cash, we can still scalp the market makers? Invest in good companies run by good management who takes care of their stockholders; beginner investor will be ok. Hope Gerstner stays for a few more years to take care of IBM stockholders.
