Speaking of inmates running the asylum, what about that mandate for 10% of all new cars sold in CA in 2003 being electric?? Just how the hell do they think they're going to charge them?? Diesel generators running in the back yard??

Those pinheads in Sacramento have been completely cut off from reality for far too long, taxing and regulating with little or no thought as to the consequences. And their proposed fixes for this current problem are more examples of the idiotic socialist policies that got them to this state in the first place. Calling price controls and forced divestiture of generating plants "deregulation" is a mangling of the language that would make George Orwell proud.
