His project there was many miles form GE's, and in a different valley with different geology. After he failed miserably there, he came to the Internet, desperately looking for a way to raise money to return to Bolivia. His first stop was the MYNG thread on Raging Bull. His first order of business there was to promote himself, while attacking GE, in order to siphon off GE supporters for his own purposes. Having failed at that, he started promoting SUNR on that thread. SUNR just happened to be trying to acquire properties in the same Tipuani River Valley where GE's properties are located. He openly sought to merge with that company in early 1999. Predictably, the company ignored him. At the same time, he offered to merge with WAMC on that thread, also on RB. That company promptly merged with another mining company instead. While Digrdoug's hopes of returning to his beloved Bolivia, but not to his own property of course, were being dashed, word of GE's latest geological study was reaching the Bolivian press. This is the Behre Dolbear study that GE had commissioned to confirm some of the findings of the previous Paravicini study. At the time, Digrdoug posted MYNG 5796: "The BD report means everything and I still believe the indication is good, especially hearing the quotes of BD representatives in the Bolivian paper." And in 3635: "If BD confirms the Guido report then this is a grand slam home run." Having been shut of Cangalli, Digrdoug then became very bitter. He has spent the last two years posting thousands of derogatory comments about GE and its management, getting sued in the process. He has also enlisted the support of many of his acquaintances in his effort to reduce the GE share price. Recently, satisfied with his success in this regard, he openly solicited the company's shareholders on the RB thread, requesting that they email him "to start a movement to maybe resurrect this company". The bottom line is this: Digrdoug wants desperately to be involved in the Tipuani Valley. Having failed in his efforts to latch onto another company that could help him in this regard, he tried to enlist the support of enough disaffected shareholders to ensure his involvement. Having failed completely (even more so than usual) at that, he's even more bitter than ever.
