William,

How come if the EPS is $0.60 and not $0.54 that you then use .54 to calculate the PE. But then you calculate the PE wrong, 48/.54 is 88.8. That just doesn't make sense.

30 years ago a good musician friend who is now the principal trumpet player in the Houston Symphony told me that my conducting style was so clear that it was easy to see my mistakes. In that light, I'll take your rude post in the most complimentary fashion possible.

If you take just a few seconds to run the math, you'll see that I made an accidental typo which I thank you for pointing out, despite that I hope I would never use your style of doing so. If you divide the stock price ($48.00) by the proper EPS ($.60), the resulting PEG ratio is exactly what I said it should be -- 80.

No wonder I don't Fool with that stuff. (And that's just 1). Wonder what the rest of the post contains.

Don't bother reading the rest of it or any of my stuff if that's going to be the tone of your criticism. In fact, I invite you to put me on "ignore."
