JRI. Yup, IMHO we're going higher after

we digest the big gains we've had in recent weeks.

Some consolidation is normal and healthy after the kind of runup we've had into important resistance areas on some of the indices.

Got to "recoil the spring", build more skepticism and re-energize the shorts before we have a shot at making another leg up.

Continuing negative fundamental news and analysis from the financial media should increase bearish sentiment sufficiently to launch the next phase of rally.

Have been averaging into positions (in size) in the gold, defense and a few tech stocks. Looking to finish those positions plus a couple more on this correction. But will keep a healthy cash reserve.

OT/Mathis definitely the rising star of the US National Team. He's a joy to watch. Borrowed the a tape of the the game against Brazil from one of my son's team mates a few days ago. What a super goal he had in that game.

On the local scene. #1 son's U-16 team buried the opposition 5-2 tonight. My guy had a goal, an assist and was taken down in the box for the PK and our penalty taker converted for our 5th goal! Damn! I always miss his best games.

But did make last nights track meet where he earned his 1st H.S. varsity letter cranking a 2:07 in the 800m. The whole family and his closest friends were there, plus we taped the run. Truly "a rite of passage".

What a week!! The hell with the stock market. LOL!
