by the way, using the CAGR is a numerical manipulation which is completely absurd in this case. It is equally absurd to ignore the equity and labor markets impact on monetary policy decisions.

The growth rate has been higher in the last several years. As I noted, the paper I quoted had to do with economic performance as a 1995, or just as the Contract with America was getting going........
