HJ: I think there are two issues in the market: Is the market overpriced? And, has the economy nearly reached a bottom or are we heading into a recession? If we are heading for recession then the market is most certainly overpriced. If we escape a recession the market is still overpriced but we have the Fed and enough wishful thinking to go higher. The Fed will go 50 points no matter what happens in the next week. Now, the question is how can we know if we are heading for recession? Answer: The job market -- and we get a better look at that tomorrow. Its a coin toss, but chances are we get another little recession scare in the morning. Good luck.

Gst, not to disagree but there must still be a reason the 'big elephant' Legg Mason still owns a 'ton' of Amzn stock and convert bonds.

Has it crossed your mind they could be really stupid? It crosses mine all the time.
