We just have different views abou it.

It's not about lamb chops and furnace filters, though.

We were talking about the same purchase item -- a sex change operation.

To you, it makes a difference whether the government pays for it as part of an employee benefit package (though, really, they don't need to pay for that to be competitive with private industry, since I don't know of ANY private insurance policy that pays for it) or as part of a citizen benefit package.

To me, if I'm paying through tax dollars for the sex change operation it doesn't much matter to me whether it goes to an employee or a non-employee as to whether I think it's a good use of my tax dollars.
