that is exactly as i see it. recent mining conferences all were characterized by mild optimism w.r.t. future base metals prices and deep pessimism regarding the PoG.
one thing that i have noticed over the past 20 years is that the rallies have ALWAYS begun as a complete surprise.
no bell ringing whatsoever at the bottom.
