Impulsively went to cash and profit-took at open with some stop losses. Now have cash, lotsa margin power and am willing to use it looking for the next entry point on the best picks going into May 15th. Your idea sounds right, shorting high-fliers (until they bottom) and staying long or getting in on the tech dogs. I would submit LOR as one tech dog which has based now and held today. Going to be looking for other similar values and hope to catch the low of the next few days to load back up. Any help or ideas appreciated. Holding lotsa WCOM, VZ and LOR only now all at a profit (yes even big dog WCOM which hasn't budged this whole rally for more than a few hours). Like them all. Watching WIND get hammered AH, liking slightly cheaper AAPL, HWP, then any cash-rich tech dog on a dip. We'll see how hard computer type stocks get hit over the day session or two. PALM got smeared today. Looking for a bottom on that after selling at open. I'm also interested in catching the bottom on this little oil stock sell-off which has been going for 3 days. Would probably pick Investco Energy Fund because I don't know enough to pick 'em. STOR was a great pick. How'd you guess? Nice plug on CNBC. And what about EMC at 38ish? 35ish? I've never lost on EMC dips but 25 where I bought last time is quite a ways from 38. And it's still at 40. I assume there will be a nice rally going into the 15th and I'll have to sell on the 14th when I go Europe so that's the short-term target. Let's make some MONEY!
