Interesting - quite a number of companies could be affected by a road like that, it could really open up the north ... expensive as a toll road, but then the competition is all fly-in, so it has to be cheaper than that ..... somewhere on the net a long time ago i saw a fascinating piece on russian railroad building in permafrost country - they float the whole thing, ballast and all, on top of the permafrost ... don't even scrape the topsoil off, they don't want to disturb anything, lest it melt and heave etc ... but the maintenance is high, they lose whole stretches some winters ... it'll be a while before we see a railroad up there, likely.

imn.to - you're edging out my aur.to recently, good show ... lots of news for imn 01/05 ... copper just doesn't generate the discussion that precious metals do, but i think it'll make us some decent coin ... when is the question - could a recession cut demand ... but recoveries are often led by construction rebounds, and that would help ... meantime, they're both solid little companies making money - imn says it 'expects profitability for the year' even with current prices.
