I see some interesting synergies between IBM, AMD and AAPL forming.

Would be interesting to see a APPLE computer with a SOI hammer CPU running OS X .

I believe they will be using a single Power4 core and add their own version of the AltiVec SIMD instructions

Actually I think that is not correct. (I may be wrong, but I don't think so.)
