Was it the worst economy of the last 50 years? Of course not, therefore, it was a complete and total lie.

Of the two, 1) Being concerned about a recession and voicing that concern to ensure a tax cut is passed to stimulate the economy, or 2) telling bold faced lies about the economy in order to spend an additional 18 billion dollars, which is worse?
