Hi Brain,

That was very helpful, and I am very glad to see you saying, the numbers are so misleading that I'm sure it's tortious for me to publish them, knowing their falsity.

You are putting a lot of effort into this. I thank you very much for doing it. Are all Wharton students like this?

Brian,

I want to add my thanks to you for your lily pond efforts, and for your thoughts about where they stand now. The original intent was to have thread participants contribute information to justify projections, exactly as you seem to be specifying. I know it's a lot of work -- work I found thankless -- so I want to thank you again.

Clearly, in retrospect, it was folly to think that WIND could skirt this downturn.I do fault them for the impression they left at the last conference call, though I think they gave themselves some leeway with the .06 guidance. After all, they'll virtually make earnings with a 10% revenue shortfall.

The second quarter outlook is somewhat startling; the guidance on the 17th should prove interesting, but hard to foresee as helpful to the stock price.

All in all, however, I agree that the long term is unaffected as long as market share is maintained/enhanced.. Of course, with monitoring, this implies buying opportunities to come.

Has there been any mention of write-offs associated with the layoffs. With the recent purchases, I'm interested in the balance sheet. I used to kind of like the $200M in cash.

Best to all,

Peter
