>> The last time you were posting was in Jan. and you were very bullish on the techs and we went almost straight down in the last part of Jan. and all of Feb <<

Please don't misconstrue my words.

Yes, I was bullish in Jan, and rightfully so! We had a nice rally up to 2900 through January expiration. I never said the rally would continue into Feb, March, etc. I specifically said that it probably wasn't going to be a lasting rally or the ultimate bottom. And if I was so bullish for the last few months why did I only have January calls ? Did you see me advocating buying calls in Feb/March?

"Who cares about a lasting bottom. I'm calling for a rally to 3000. We will cross that bridge when we come to it."
"There you go with that lasting word again. I don't need a lasting bottom to make money. Just an intermediate term bottom."
"You're right. That's probably why this won't be the ultimate bottom in the Nasdaq, just a short to intermediate term bottom."
"Um, you have that backwards. I have no faith in Greenspan! I do believe that there are enough other people out there that do have faith in Greenspan to permit a rally for a while."

"I've never claimed we saw the ultimate bottom. I just called for a short to intermediate term bottom. We will have to let the market be our guide and reveal to us if it is a true bottom or not. I'm still on the fence, there is so much conflicting data.
What I need to do is some research on past bear market rallies such as ones following 1929, 1973-74, Japan '89, etc to see what the market breadth was on those fake-outs. My guess is that we ultimately go lower, perhaps to 1200-1300 on the Nasdaq. There are many arguments on both sides that have merit."

>> We are due for a correction craig, but I would watch your shorts very very close in here. <<

I never said I had any shorts. Are you misconstruing my words again? I said I might join them. Three stocks I've been thinking have good short potential ironically were down today BEAS, CIEN, CHKP. BRCD was up and I might be interested in shorting that soon as well.
