I know of AT LEAST two people who signed up recently with PacBell. It never worked. PacBell has no more IP's so they have to provided dynamic IP's and the users can't get logged on. It is a JOKE.

I've got PacBell at work (only four of us) and it works just fine but ... we've got a fixed IP.

I wouldn't get DSL if you don't have a fixed IP.
