That was my take on the miningweb article. I think (hope) they meant they want to accelerate Phase III, which involves getting to 500k oz production at Messina.

Based on the recent news releases, the financing to get to 160k oz/yr seems to be a done deal. I believe the end-user agreement is the final condition that needs to be met, and from what I understand, this is very close to announcement.

The company, with its recent financing and announcement in S.A. of increasing their share position in Messina Ltd., are making a strategic move to increase their percentage ownership of Messina. This may also cause some delays closing the financing.
