Re: QCOM

Qualcomm (QCOM:Nasdaq - news) was up 3.2% in early afternoon. Credit Suisse First Boston said it is maintaining its hold rating on the wireless equipment maker, noting that Telecom New Zealand cancelled plans for a network using Qualcomm's CDMA technology.

Earlier this week, China Unicom postponed signing contracts for equipment that uses CDMA technology. CSFB said the development supports its contention that Qualcomm's near- and medium-term outlook is cloudy due to a lack of new CDMA networks.

re: How are things in the Land of Lincoln?

We are in middle of the country acting like a fulcrum, as the rest of the country teeters back and forth, we just sit there and act normal. Why do you think the News people sound like they do? LOL We have nukes baby, we are not fools, the nimby's want jobs, they understand what it takes to live the life they want to live, and that is POWER and water for that matter. I bet you we become a water opec for the south someday. <g>
