Gee, I thought Clinton vetoed that budget because it was too small. Not enough to pay for this, not enough to pay for that. Not enough sounded not big enough.

Clinton didn't veto the budget because it was bloated you idiot. It was the opposite. And he cyncially used the fears of the old and infirm to get what he wanted. The man is lower than pond scum and bears no comparison to the other gentlement you mentioned. Bray all you like but the budget deficit was created by the profligate spending Dem Congress which controlled government spending machinery for over 40 years. Reagan is due some criticism for not taking the Dems on more forcefully that is true but overall the debt legacy belongs to the Dem Congress who outspent the massive revenue increases the Reagan tax cuts created.
