Hi mm - OT (more) I remain slightly amused.

You call a spade a spade. Two clubs
Jan 2000: "Ever since I bought my first shares 4 years ago"
Dec 1999: "I bought in early 97 for the first time "

I apologize. I didn't get it that you could have multiple first purchases. Now I understand <g>

But now with my tongue out of my cheek...

As to seeing how smart people are? Time does that quite nicely. Don't need to see people post trades. After all, that is just as easily manufactured.

Finally, your observation on nonconstructive participation... Deriding of people isn't confined to those who deride the stock. Many of the most vocal are those that would take a long position.

And many of us who have lost nothing or even profited in this downturn are having a hard time not being the target of such derision. And failing to keep ourselves properly in check - e.g. my own posts to the esteemed Mr. Ed

Even you are guilty of sanction: Check your response to Mr. Mormony for example.

So the soap opera that is the CSCO thread continues. Maybe we call it "As the equity churns. There is very little newsworthy to post about the company... might as well post about people posting about people posting about griping about the people who post about the company, huh?

Great returns in the past. Shame about the future.

John.
