It took four weeks to get it done and I've figured out from this experience that some of the institutions "selling" gold are are mostly trading paper; they dont have the physical material in their warehouse to back up their sales. Thats why it took four weeks to get my receipts, because the company that sold me the stuff didnt have it set aside for me in the first place. Think about it, if you think gold is never going up or you have to power to make sure it doesnt go up, then why not sell people gold on paper and just use the money to gamble in the stock or bond markets. Thats exactly what these institutions have been doing for years. I am going home over the weekend with my certificates, and my gold locked up in the COMEX warehouse with my name on it!
