1. What Bush thought is irrelevant. The law is the thing that matters and the law says, the most electoral votes win. period. Bush got the most. He wins. 2. The campaign for the office of POTUS presents a federal question. There was at least one federal statute,(citation escapes me now) and the Constitution (14th Amendment) which were in brought into question in addition to state law matters. 3. More bull-oney. The VAST majority of voters filled out their ballots correctly. Its impossible to "idiot proof" anything. There are always a certain number of mental defectives going into the voting booths, overwhelmingly Dem. as Gore would have you believe. 4. You concede. The law supports all my positions. The offense of perjury when it is connected with the attempted denial of another citizen of her day in Court along with the blatant misuse of office which Clinton was guilty, and his sanction by a federal court for deliberately misleading that court, is certainly impeachable. He was impeached and he should have been removed. That he was not is a national disgrace and a permanent stain on the office. Even R. Nixon, who I despise, had more grace. The defectors as you call them wanted only to save their own butts politically. They abdicated their responsiblity to the country and the Constitution. The charges were proven beyond doubt. Those are the objective facts and the application of relevant law. JLA
