They just wanted to get their clients in low as usual.

That exactly what my read was when this piece of "news" came across the wire. The bottom line to DB is not predicting where BEAS growth will come from. Its getting there clients into one of the choicest tech stocks out there right now at the best possible price. And if that means slamming the stock when they have the most tenuous piece of evidence to support their objective, they will certainly do it. I'm sure Coleman is now working on a more detailed response to the Giga assertion that IBM is gaining market share for the earnings call in a couple weeks. Yup; its a buying opportunity.

More important that some BS research by some geeky firm operating in an ivory tower is what the Fed is likely to do just before BEAS' earnings are released. While critics of BEAS stock price are quick to point to its above average P/E, they are also IMHO quick to forget that the valuation that supports the "P" in the P/E ratio is predicated on the cost of capital, which is going down, and is inversely proportional to how a valuation model prices a company's stock based upon future earnings and earnings growth. Bottom line is that you don't fight the Fed. So much for our friend's "unemotional TA" prediction of a price of $10. LOL.

BEAS is garbage. Don't let Susan G fool you. and BEAS is loaded with stinky $500 mill DEBT! not good! while BEAS has been stagnant recently, most cash-rich dotbombs have been up 200-300% recently, ie IIIM, CMGI, ICGE, etc.
