I don't think a dying dot com media outlet will do the trick. We will need a mass distribution media outlet of the Barrons or Business Week sort to do a prominent article of this nature on Gold.

Maybe GATA can help. I vote for them to switch their campaign tactics from "Gold is manipulated" to "Gold is dead". That way when everybody has sold out, we will get our buy signal.

If you Got Gold, don't admit it.
If you don't Got Gold, short it.

This is not to toot my own horn, but near the bottom of the oil cycle about 2 years ago, an article appeared in a major magazine (either the Economist or Business Week if memory serves) arguing that the price of crude (then about $11) would soon drop to $5 and stay down for years. I took that as a major buy signal and we all know what has happened since.

With the pressure under the gold volcano steadily building, we may well be on the verge of a repeat performance.
