Zeev:

To me the fact that the market bounced so quickly on yesterday's "bad" news is ominous. The boys are discounting the next Fed rate cut right now. And those buying on the rumor are likely to sell on the news.

I had previously expected NAZ 2000 to hold on the next significant setback, but now I doubt it. Your 1850 target is looking better and better.

<< May Massacre >>

Hope you're right. I am leaning heavily towards the dark side in anticipation.

MO - I'm long since 46. Have GTC sell at 55.2. Comments?

TIA - GTC

long lull until next FOMC in endJune, I believe
just like long lull after late Jan FOMC, up to midMarch
Feb massacre, and May massacre?

the jobs report did NOT seem like a final climax from labor front
layoffs are still accelerating

key facts:
among analysts and writers, bull/bear ratio is now 3:1
book/bill ratio for chip sector is now at 0.63
we rally in the face of this deterioration?

Zeev, I believe S&P and Dow are more vulnerable now than Naz
Dow is actually within spitting distance of new highs
the most absurd development I have seen all year

once more I go opposite to traffic
I just started a new job
while thousands are out the door holding pink slips
