"The fed will save us" argument has reached the quality of religious truth - "Invest, you sinners, cause God loves you and will take pity of you and redeem " your losses. (What about making it a constitutional amendment?)

Greenspan put lives OK. Though he cant be more than just the bloke behind a curtain, pulling a lever or two. And not the great Wizzard of Oz.

It's time I started looking for more out-of-money far-out leap puts. On United states of tulips.

Today showed more of the reasons why I am out of this market - we rallied because people see a 50 basis rate cut. No one is willing to look at the real news. Bush announcing a revision down in GDP and the employment report showing a tailspin.

The market goes straight up or straight down. There is no in between. No periods of healthy consolidation...thats why the breaks are so violent.
