Agree but GE may as well also be a market index like the SPX or DOW. Many including me view them as a diversified portfolio of it's own like BRK.A

They have their hands in Jet engines, appliances, electronics, consumer goods etc. Of course why an index should have a PE over 40 I have no idea. -g-

I doubt it will crash, probably just go flat until earnings catch up. People buy GE as long as they think the economy will survive and a lot of old grannies own it which puts a bit of a floor under it. Of course all teh funds view it as a must have also. Way over priced but a lousy short candidate for anything other than a scalp trade now and then IMO. I'll give you 10 for it though long. -gggg-
