I think you need to get out more. All sorts of nifty kitchen toys use electricity. :-)

OTOH, neither my Palm V nor my cell phone plugs in, except to charge. So maybe you're right after all. :-)

But then, I've got technical degrees, too. Another stereotype shattered! :-)
