Ex,
Have talked often, particularly with John Shannon, regarding baby boomer market valuations which can stay higher than the norm for another 5-10 years. Not a bubble, just reality imo. The bubble you talk about has been corrected by Mr. Greenspan. You are right about salesman, but my background is in polilitical science, particularly international politics. Have a Masters from the University of Chicago.
As far as the markets go, i am bullish short term up to 2500-2800 naz, then bearish as reality bites with next quarter earnings and then finally bullish over the next decade. The last bulllishness will probably keep me mostly invested thru this period. I cant see trading out on the bear phase. Hard to figure when to get back in. When I ultimately do get out, it will be when i am convinced that baby boomer demographics are fully priced in. Mike
