That crash was something like 12 years ago. JXN is about 21 months old. Damage seems to be minimal<g>.

The course was lined with a couple thousand people on either side...my friends tell me that, in unison, the crowd gave out a big "Oooooooooo" when I did that part of the crash. I pretty much had the rest of the world tuned out at that point, so I don't remember that particular detail.

Funny thing was, they had a prize for the best crash...and I didn't win. The guy who won came into the ER about 15 minutes after me...both collar bones protruding from dual compound fractures.
